Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Vol. 1-3 by Ryan North & Erica Henderson

Volume 1 | Volume 2 | Volume 3

Reviewed by Cassie Ogle

Doreen Green, aka The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (member of the Great Lakes Avengers and friend of Tony Stark), with her squirrel friend Tippy Toe are embarking on a new adventure: College. Doreen makes a few friends and enemies before classes get started. How is a girls supposed to juggle computer science classes, keeping her tail tucked and her secret identity safe, and saving the world from villains such as Galactus, Kraven the Hunter, and Doctor Doom? – By “Eating Nuts, and Kicking Butts!” of course. Well, actually, she usually uses the “Kicking Butts” part as a last resort and relies on her upbeat personality and wit to try to reason with her enemies first.
