Hoopla is the library’s newest digital resource. With your library card,  you can download movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone.

Getting Started!

Step 1: Download the Hoopla Digital App!

Step 2: Sign Up for a Free Hoopla Account

Go to the www.hoopladigital.com and press blue Get Started button.

Step 3: Enter your Information

Enter your email and a create a password. Press the blue Agree button.

Step 4: Choose Tazewell County Public Library.

If Tazewell County Public Library is not the first library listed, enter your zip code for it to appear. Press the blue Next button.

Step 5: Enter your TCPL library card.

Enter the number starting with 22 on the back of your library card with no spaces. Press the blue Sign Me Up button.

Step 6: Start Borrowing.

Borrow digital items from your PC or mobile device.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many digital items can I borrow?

Each cardholder can borrow 4 digital items (e.g., eAudiobooks, eBooks, eMusic, eVideos) per month. There are no late fees and no waiting for items to be returned.

How long can I borrow an item via Hoopla?

  • eAudiobooks – 21 days
  • eBooks – 21 days
  • eMusic Titles – 7 days
  • eVideos (Movies and TV Shows) – 72 hours

Can I place a hold on items?

There is no need for holds with Hoopla Digital. Every title in its collection is available for check out 24/7.

How do I get additional assistance?
