Join us at the Pocahontas Branch Library on Saturday morning for Story Hour. We will be reading Escargot by Dashka Slater and illustrated by Sydney Hanson. After our story, we will learn a fingerplay, make racing snails, and tentacles to wear. Bonjour! Escargot, the very handsome French snail, wonders if snails are your favorite animal. No? Well, after seeing Escargot’s shimmery trail and the fierce face he gives carrots and receiving his air kisses, you may discover that you have a new favorite picture book.
