On April 11, 2007, Dr. Martin McNeill appeared to have committed the perfect murder when his wife’s body was discovered in the bathtub on their Pleasant Grove, Utah home. With his wife of thirty years, Michele, out of the way, Dr. McNeill, the doctor, attorney, and Morman bishop, could live full time with his mistress. However, Michele’s family had always been suspicious of Martin McNeill and feared that Michele’s life would end tragically. Their daughters, especially Alexis, were also suspicious about the circumstances surrounding Michele’s death. Together with their Aunt Linda Cluff, they worked tenaciously to get justice for Michele McNeill. The Martin McNeill they thought they knew did not exist. Instead, they discovered adulterous relationships, a past criminal record and falsified records and transcripts to get into medical and law schools. Finally, on November 8, 2014, Martin McNeill was convicted of first degree murder.
